Ginger + Liz - Fall 15' Collection: Swatches & Review

press sample

Hello, all! Happy Monday! I have a stunning fall collection to share with you today that is from a new to me brand called Ginger + Liz. I had never heard of them until recently and I have to say, I am incredibly impressed. I love the bottles and the caps and the formulas and the colors. My experience so far has been really positive. They are 5-Free, vegan friendly, non-toxic, and made in the USA. If you haven't check this brand out before, I think it's worth a look.

Let's dig in!

Unbothered is a vivid orchid polish that dries to a satin finish. This color rocks. It's one of my favorite bright hues to wear and the formula on this was really great. If that wasn't enough, most polishes of this color that I've come across have had an odd spell to them (I assume it has to do with the pigment used), but this one didn't have a noticeable odor (at least not to me). This dries to a satin finish so if you're not a fan of that, just add your favorite top coat. Shown is 2 coats.

Working the Room is a deep greyed out eggplant creme that is my kind of color! It's so pretty and such a great and wearable hue. The formula was really nice and shown is 2 easy coats.

Such a Lady is a metallic rose gold mixed with crushed glitter and holo. It's a really nice take on this color and it feels youthful and fun. I could see myself wearing this for the new years! Great formula and once again just 2 coats needed.

Best I've Ever Had is a nude creme and well, it might be the best I've ever had haha! It has a great formula and I only needed 2 coats to reach opacity! It's a great shade and it's very similar to my natural skin tone so it does give me a big of manikin hands but I'm digging this color nonetheless.

Overall, I am seriously impressed by this brand. The entire collection is not only perfect for fall, but the formulas on each of these polishes is outstanding. I can't get over them. I have a few more polishes from Ginger + Liz to share and I'm excited to see how nice they are as well.
