Bonita Cosmetics - You Blue Me Away Collection: Swatches & Review

press sample

Happy Sunday, all! I've got a double set of Bonita Cosmetics posts to share with you today so check back later to see another stunning collection!

Even though Bonita is a drugstore brand (available in almost every riteaid store or online!), they are cruelty free and always come out with some stunning and on trend collections...the You Blue Me Away collection is no exception. I am absolutely smitten with this set of polishes, perfect for Spring and Summer, but even wearable year round if you're so inclined. Let's take a look!
bonita you blue me away
Kyoto's Cherry Blossoms is a vibrant carnation pink creme with a great formula. This pink seems very wearable and classic to me and something you could easily wear in the office or at the beach. Shown is 3 easy coats though 2 would have worked as well.

Ibiza Nightlife is a vibrant orchid jelly that is basically my favorite shade of orchid! This one is a bit sheer so it will 3 coats at least to reach opacity, though you could probably throw on a base of white to make this pop even more! Reminds me slightly of Zoya's Charisma, though much more opaque.

Bora Bora Coast is a pale Carolina blue creme, really really lovely for spring and early summer (and I think it will be perfect for your toes this summer!). The formula was flawless and shown is an easy and self-leveling 2 coats!

Santorini's Ocean is an incredibly vivid ocean blue creme that reminds me a bit of Zoya's Breezi though this is a bit more blue. The formula on this was wonderful and shown is 2 coats.

Cocktails in Aruba is a fun spearmint green creme with the same formula as the rest of the cremes so far - super smooth and easy to work with (you really can't ask for more!). Shown is 3 coats. Love this one!

Golden Florence is the final shade of the collection is a gold metallic polish that is more of a foil than anything. It's got a bit of a weird formula and is a little bit thick so if you grab this one just be patient with it (or add some thinner if you'd prefer, though I'm not sure how it will work with a foil like this). Shown is 2 coats.
