Wet N Wild, 1-Step Wonder Gel: Swatches & Review

Hey, all! I have a beyond EPIC post to share today! I think this is the most swatches I've ever done of a brand and I'm pretty excited to share with you all! I have the entire Wet n' Wild 1-Step Wonder Gel line swatched and I have to say, I am pretty smitten with these polishes.

The idea behind this line of shades is that you don't need anything but the bottle of polish you're using to complete your manicure. So no base or top coat required. While they're calling them a "gel", it isn't a true gel and doesn't require a light to cure it. So how does it stand up? I'll share my swatches and then let you know my thoughts at the end.

Since they're all very similar in application, I've just mentioned the shade description and how many coats I used in the photos. True to how the polish is meant to be worn, I'm showing these without base or top coat.

Hey my friends! I hope your week has been going well! Anyone else still in shock that we're already into May? Time needs to slow its roll! ;)...heh, I guess pun intended because today's post is about a watch and the matching nail art I did!

So today is about my new Daniel Wellington Dapper Durham watch in rose gold! I am seriously obsessed with this watch...I've been wearing it almost daily for the last 2 weeks and I can't get enough of it. It's classic and understated and wearable with every single outfit I have. The face is the perfect size for me - not too big or too small in my opinion. It's clean and fresh looking while also making me feel incredibly stylish and sensible. Just perfection.

Hey, all! I've got another lovely spring collection to share with you all, this time from my beloved Zoya! While Zoya always seems to do a great job curating shades for each season, the Petals collection I have to share today is especially beautiful and perfect for this time of year. I love how delicate and soft each shade is...I supppse that's why it's the Petals collection ;)

LVX - Spring 2016 Collection: Swatches

Hi, all! I've got the Spring 2016 collection by LVX to share today and as always, I'm in love with the beautiful creme polishes they've curated for us this season. I always consider LVX to be spot on with the current trends and color palettes and this collection is no different. It's the perfect combination of soft pastels and bold pops of color. Just...ugh, so pretty!

LVX is 7-Free, Vegan friendly, and animal cruelty free, and while they're pretty pricey at $18/bottle, you are getting a full 0.5oz of guilt-free polish at that rate. It seems more and more brands are selling at this steeper price, but using bottles that are half this size...so in my opinion, the full size bottles make the price easier to swallow. Let's take a look!
