Live Love Polish - Model's Own Ice Neon: Swatches & Review
Hi, all! I've got more polishes to share today from my favorite polish retailer, Live Love Polish to share today! I know it's still winter, but sometimes I get tired of the same shades and a little pop of neon does a girl good every now and again ;) These two Model's Own polishes are from the Ice Neon collection. These shades all dry to a nice and satiny matte finish, but if that's not your style you can add a top coat to make it glossy.

Habit Cosmetics - Shades 09, 14, 15, & 16: Swatches, Review & Nail Art
Hello, hello! I've got swatches of some more beautiful Habit Cosmetics polishes to share with you all today! I've reviewed Aja's stuff before and I always love not only the stunning shades and great formulas, but the consciousness that goes into each bottle. Habit is big 5-free, vegan and creulty free, and each polish is made with a natural nail strengthener call Myrrh extract. If that wasn't enough, they also come in my favorite bottles ever.

The Digital Dozen does Fairy Tales - Day 5: The Seven Ravens
Hi, all! Sorry I'm so late with my final Digital Dozen post! This Fairy Tale week was a toughy for me, but I absolutely loved seeing what all the other ladies put together for the week.
Day 5 of DD week ends with yet another Brother's Grimm tale - The Seven Ravens. The story tells of a man and wife that had 7 sons but they desperately wanted a daughter. When the wife finally gave birth to a baby girl, the baby was sickly and her parents feared she would not make it. In case things took a turn for the worse, the family wanted to quickly baptize the daughter and so he sent his 7 sons to fetch water for the baptism. When the sons get to the well, they manage to drop the bucket down the well and NONE of these dummies can figure out what to do to get the water and so instead of returning home to figure something else out...they just stay by the well.

Cirque Colors - The Metropolis Collection: January Swatches & Review
Press Sample
Hello, all! I've got swatches of two strikingly vampy shades by Cirque Colors to share today! Both of these polishes are from the latest installment of the Metropolis collection...
"An ode to the city that never sleeps; the center of the universe; the metropolis. We are excited to introduce a range of creme-finished lacquers to our core lineup through a monthly release series".
I have absolutely loved the beautiful cremes that they've previously released for this collection, and I'm just as excited for the next few installments.

Glitter Daze - The Mythical Collection: Swatches and Review
Press Sample
Hello, hello! Happy happy Saturday to you all! I've got one more Digital Dozen mani to complete for the week, but I REALLY wanted to share these drool worthy polishes from Glitter Daze today! This is the new Mythical Collection and oh my word are they pretty. These feature the mind blowingly pretty multi-chrome flakies that have been popular as of late and I'm just completely smitten with how pretty these are.
I love mythology and fantasy, so I love that this collection is inspired by some famous mythical creatures. While I don't always like polishes that need to be layered over another polish, in this case, I like that. Whichever polish you decide to use as your base will define the look of each of these multi-chrome flakies and I love the versatility that provides. Glitter Daze is based out of Dallas, Texas, USA and is big 4 free.

The Digital Dozen does Fairy Tales - Day 4: Godfather Death
Nothing to Disclose
Yay! I'm proud that I'm still keeping up with this week's Digital Dozen challenge! These challenge weeks never seem very daunting prior to the start of the weeks...but after the first few days, it gets tough! I usually run out of 'easy' concepts/ideas and really have to dig deep to come up with looks.
For Day 4 I've turned to the trusty (and creepy) Brother's Grimm fairy tales archive. One story in particular stuck out to me during my perusal of the online library - Godfather Death. Understandably I was immediately intrigued and clicked on the story.

The Digital Dozen does Fairy Tales - Day 3: The Golden Bird
Nothing to Disclose
Day 3 of The Digital Dozen does Fairy Tales is upon us (yay!), and holy wow am I discovering just how many classic fairy tales are out there! Hans Christian Andersen and the Brother's Grimm each have such prolific works that it's a bit daunting attempting to narrow down potential stories. I've taken to the 'scroll-and-scan' technique, where I scroll down the list of fairy tales and scan for titles that jump out at me.
Tonight's fairy tale manicure is the result of this technique as I have never heard of this story before, but I instantly liked the premise. The Golden Bird tells the story of a king who has a tree of golden apples, but each year, one golden apple gets stolen. Obviously (I mean, we need some conflict!), the king is a bit miffed by his apples disappearing so he sets his 3 sons on the task of discovering who is stealing the apple.

The Digital Dozen does Fairy Tales - Day 2: Little Ida's Flowers
Nothing to Disclose
Hello, all! It's Day 2 of the Digital Dozen does Fairy Tales! I'm exhausted from my long Monday (why are Monday's so awful!?) so let's get to it!
So the great thing about the internet is that there is a TON of content and inspiration to draw upon...but the bad thing about the internet is that there is a TON of content and things to potentially find inspiration from! This has been a bit of a problem for this challenge because there are hundreds of classic fairy tales to choose from.

The Digital Dozen does Fairy Tales - Day 1: The Ugly Duckling
Nothing to Disclose
Hello, all! I am so excited about this upcoming week because it's time for another week of posting with The Digital Dozen ladies! We're starting off the new year by welcoming SIX immensely talented ladies to our little DD family and I'm so excited to see how they take on each month's challenges.
This month's theme is all about Fairy Tales and I was initially really excited about this theme...and now I'm feeling intimidated by it! There are SO MANY fairy tales to choose from and so many interpretations to consider. I figured I'd start off with something cutesy and settled on the classic fairy tale of The Ugly Ducking!

Nayll - Custom Polishes: Swatches & Review
Press Sample
Hello, all! I'm getting back into the swing of things (sorry I've been so incredibly MIA lately) and today I have swatches and a review of a new to me brand called Nayll! For those who don't know, Nayll is all about creating your very own custom nail polishes. While they do offer pre-designed collections, the majority of what they produce are polishes that you get to create yourself...which is so incredibly awesome!
These polishes were designed by my sister and I and we sat down together one night and had an absolute blast picking out the colors and glitters we thought would look best together. You also get the option to name each polish so we gave them names based on some of our favorite movies.
By the end of it we had convinced ourselves that we could start our own polish company and design collections together ;) I think that part alone was as much fun as wearing the polish once it got here! The custom polishes are star with two basic finishes - shimmers or jelly based glitter polishes. I personally prefer jelly/crellies with glitter so all 4 of the polishes I have to share are in that style.

Reverie Nail Lacquer - Swatches & Review
Press Sample
Hello, all! To say that the last few months have been busy is an understatement. So much has been going on and I've been dealing with a super crazy work schedule on top of all of it. I've been out of town a ton the last two months and haven't had a chance to get posts up like I've been wanting to. With the new year finally here, I'm excited to get back on track with everything and share with you all the goodies I've been meaning to post.
Today, I have 3 beautiful shades from the new to me brand, Reverie Nail Lacquer! These 3 polishes are from the Winter 2014 collection, but all of they could easily be worn year round as the colors are not overtly winter/holiday.
