Hello, all! Happy (as happy as it can be...) Monday! It is going to be an incredibly busy week on Wondrously Polished with several days of double posts so stay tuned (and cheer me on since it's going to be tough for me to keep up with everything!).
For Day 3 of the 31 Day Challenge 2.0, I was inspired by this abstract floral painting. I've done this technique a few times before - one of my favorites is here - and really love how the style looks. Instead of doing a smaller version like I have in the past, I decided to fill my whole nail with the design and I really love how it turned out!
I started with a base of OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls then added the yellow dot with acrylic paint in the center using a small dotting tool. From there, I used Zoya's Malia, Mira, and Kieko along with a few lighter shades of acrylic paint to paint the petals around the center. I tried to keep 3-4 petals per ring for consistency.
