Well, hello, hello! I can't believe it's been a month since I blogged last. I've been dealing with a lot in my personal life and unfortunately it's been affecting my blog schedule. That being said, I've got loads of new nail polish swatches coming your way along with nail art! Yay? Yay!
So today I have the first half of the KBShimmer Spring collection! There are 14 polishes total that were released for Spring, these 7 here, as then 7 Mega Flame polish that I'll have to share soon! As always, Christy and her crew have created season appropriate polishes that still feel fresh fun (and they've got nice formulas to boot). Let's take a look!
Pools Paradise is a light aqua crelly with neon pink, periwinkle, and aqua glitters and is inspired by the Pantone 2016 Spring/Summer shade, Serenity. This was slightly thick on application but still workable and shown is 3 coats.
I Wet My Plants is a pastel periwinkle purple crelly with colorful glitters in pink, sapphire, silver, and purple...and I'm obsessed! Also inspired by Serenity. Shown is 3 breezy coats, though 2 was nearly there.
Hello Dahlia is a dusty peach crelly with shimmery orange sparkles and micro holo dust. There is also a touch of golden micro flakes to add a little something extra. Inspired by another Pantone shade, Peach Echo! Shown is 3 smooth coats.
Upside Round is glitter topper packed with round neon glitters. I think you could probably pair this with any base and it would look fun! Shown is one coat (yep!) over Hello Dahlia.
Purr-fectly Paw-some is a greyed out pastel blue linear holo with a hint of lavender. A nice, subtle holo, though it does show brush strokes ever so slightly. Shown is 2 coats.
Peony Pincher is a pastel pink linear holo with the same lavender undertones as Purr-fectly Paw-some. Great formula and shown is 2 coats.
Finally, we have Prints Charming (hehe!), a white crelly with pops of fuchsia, turquoise, and sapphire. This might be my favorite of the bunch just because I love the look of a white base and glitter! You can't go wrong :) Shown is 3 easy coats.
To finish up, I did some simple spring nail art over I Wet My Plants (hehe)...I painted plants, the obvious choice for a polish with this name ;)
These shades are all available from the KBShimmer website for the steal of a price, $9.25/polish. Be sure to check out KBShimmer on all your favorite social media sites to stay up to date with the latest collections and releases!
