The Digital Dozen does Black & White - Day 1: Southwest Tribal Skittle

Squee!! This marks my very first manicure as a member of the Digital Dozen and I am so excited for this challenge week and to be creating art with these amazing women! This month's theme is Black & White and I knew immediately that I wanted to do a tribal print of some sort for at least one of the days. Yes, I am still utterly obsessed with tribal print. I can't help it. I love the artwork of the Native American tribes of the Southwest of the US - it is just so inspiring to me!

Since this is a black and white challenge, the colors aren't going to be too exciting to share. I used China Glaze's White on White and Liquid Leather (white and black, respectively) for this look and did the line work with my 18/0 Liner.
I am really happy with how this look turned out. I was really worried about creating something that would be worthy of this group and I hope that I've done them proud for my first mani as a member. It would appear though that I work best under pressure - I am the queen of procrastination and this is the only black and white look I've done so far! D: Definitely not panicking over here ;) In my defense though, yesterday was my birthday and I spent it celebrating away from all my polishes ;)
What do you think of this look? What sort of black and white looks would you want to see from me? What sort of looks would you do if you were doing this challenge?

Be sure to check out all the manis for today in the Inlinkz below!

Happy Polishing :)
