Modish Polish - Swatches, Review, & Nail Art

press sample

Hi, all!

I have swatches from a new to me brand, Modish Polish, to share with you today! I had heard of this brand a few times so I was excited when they got in touch and asked if I'd be interested in trying out a few of their polishes.

Modish was founded by two sisters out of Los Angeles and features a big 5-Free formula and is also Vegan friendly (gotta love supporting cruelty free brands!). You can read more about their mission statement in their About section. Let's take a look at the three polishes I swatched!

A Bed of Clouds is a cornflower blue creme and I am absolutely smitten with this shade. Not only is the color stunning, but I can't believe how opaque this applied. One coat was completely opaque but I've shown 2 here for good measure. It was a tad on the thick side, but nothing unworkable.

Malibu Sunrise is a pale pastel yellow creme that is a bit streaky on the first coat but the second and third reached a buttery and smooth opacity. Yellow can be tough to wear, but because this is a pastel shade, I think it will work well on many different skin tones.

On Fleek is a bright cantaloupe coral creme, again with a slightly streaky first coat. But, also like Malibu Sunrise, it's nice and smoothly opaque with the 2nd or 3rd coat. Another really pretty color and perfect for the hands or the toes in my opinion.

And of course, I can't have these 3 beautiful colors and not do one of my go-to floral looks. I just love how this turned out!

Overall, really enjoyed these. I love a good creme with an easy formula. I will say though that I don't love the brushes on these. They're pretty narrow (think Essie size) and the brush in On Fleek was actually cut a bit wonky which just made me be more precise with my strokes. That being said, the colors are so beautiful and the formulas easy enough to work with that the brushes aren't a deal breaker. Besides, I know brush size is personal preference!

You can purchase these and any other polishes from the Modish line directly from their website at ModishPolish.com and be sure to follow them on your favorite social media site to stay up to date with the latest collections and releases! What do you think of these? Have a favorite color??
