Hello, all! Wow it's been a while, hasn't it? I've been insanely busy at my day job (pesky thing, that) and then also busy traveling to handle wedding planning duties. But, it's that time of year where new Fall collections are upon us and I have so many beautiful goodies to share with you all!
Today I have a fun little duo that is the first post in a series of polishes from Cirque Colors! They're doing another fun Pop-In @ Nordstrom, this time partnering up with Vans for their 50th Anniversary Celebration! They've created 3 exclusive shades in primary hues, as well as 3 nail art kits to celebrate the occasion. First up is one one the nail art kits which helps you create the classic Vans Checkerboard!
The kit consists of Cirque's fabulous white and black polishes, Carpe Diem and Momento Mori, respectively. While Carpe Diem will require 2-3 coats, it is very opaque and will become a staple white shade for me. Momento Mori is a fantastic one coater, though my swatches show 2 easy coats.

Lastly, I added my own fun touch to the checkerboard and painted some graphic roses over the top. I'm really digging the combination of patterns!
This kit, along with the rest of the Pop-In @ Nordstrom exclusives are available from Nordstrom.com or at 8 in-store locations (check them out here). These are exclusive and limited edition, however, and will only be available from August 5th - September 4.
