Hello, again! It's day two of Digital Dozen does Autumn week and so, as I'm sure you can assume, I've got my day 2 mani to share with you RIGHT NOW :D
For the challenge, I basically just typed Autumn into google images and let inspiration strike where it may. I came across this image in particular and REALLY wanted to try my hand at something like it, but I was scared that it would end up looking nothing like the original. However, I threw caution to the wind and just tried my best to break down each part individually until I had a full picture. So here is my attempt at a lake side reflection at Autumn.
So, I'll be honest...I kind of keep going back and forth on this look and whether or not it actually looks like what it's supposed to. I think with some guidance (i.e. "hey look at my lakeside at Autumn mani! It has the trees reflected on the water!") you can easily see what this is supposed to be, but I'm not so sure it's super recognizable right away? I don't know, you all will have to tell me what you think!
I used a base of OPI's My Vampire is Buff just to have a layer between the acrylic paint I used for the entire look and my nail.

Overall, I think I like these! When I painted my thumb I was really excited about the prospect of this mani, but after doing the rest of the nails I'm not loving it quite as much. Maybe next time I'll show more tree-line and less water reflection?
