Renaissance Cosmetics - Fall 2014 Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Hello, all! I am absolutely in love with the collection I have to share with you all today! Meghan from Renaissance Cosmetics has released a new set of Fall shades and they are beyond stunning.

The first part of the collection is a set of lovely shimmers, and the second half is a set of knock out micro glitters! Every single one of these polishes is worth owning and all of them have phenomenal formula. If you can't wait to get your hands on these, read through to the end of my post for a coupon code - but don't wait because these are selling out quick!

Kensington

Kensington is definitely one of the stand out stars of this collection. It is an absolutely stunning royal purple with subtle coppery gold shimmer. The formula was flawless and practically opaque in just 1 coat! This dries to a nice matte finish, but I've shown 2 coats with a top coat. Unfortunately, this one is out of stock right now, but if we keep our fingers and toes crossed, it might come back soon!

Three Sisters

I can't decide if Three Sisters is a redish pink or an orangy pink or a pinkish red...either way, this one is beautiful. It has a subtle gold shimmer that goes so well with this color. The formula was once again wonderful. Shown is 2 coats with top coat.

Portland

You might know by now my love of green polishes. Portland is a beautiful chartreuse with subtle iridescent shimmer flakes. I love that this one is so unique, yet still so classy. This one dries to a matte finish like Kensington and Three Sisters and shown is 2 coats with top coat.

Wanderlust

Oh my word. For these micro glitters, I suggest you go and get something to hold your jaw in place because these are all jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Wanderlust is generally a blue shade but it is packed full of sapphire, navy, green, turquoise, gold and silver micro glitters. I absolutely love this. The formula on the micro glitters is slightly thicker than those of the shimmers, but if you use 3 thin coats, you won't have any issues with these.

Phoebe

Phoebe is another stunner. It's an orchid shade with bits of purple, pink, gold and silver micro glitters. This one seems really unique to me - I don't think I've got a shade quite like this. Shown is 3 thin coats and top coat.

Hera

Last, but certainly not least, is Hera. This one another favorite of mine. It's an almost raspberry red with burgundy and fuchsia undertones. So stunning and a great fall shade in my opinion. Shown is once again, 3 thin coats and a top coat.

Overall, every single one of these is amazing and you would not be disappointed to own one of them. What I love about Meghan's polishes is that she is so careful about the consistency of her formulas. That coupled with utterly stunning and unique color mixes leaves this blogger a happy lady.

You can purchase these (and any of her past polishes) from her online shop now. Be sure to use the code wondrously15 and you'll receive 15% off of your purchase ($10 minimum).
