Polish Addict Nail Color - Swatches & Review

I hope everyone has survived the Black Friday, Small Business Saturday sales and is getting some rest for Cyber Monday ;) I know I had to use tremendous restraint to not buy every single nail polish I saw.

My final set of swatches for the weekend madness is from Polish Addict Nail Color! These 4 polishes are all from the latest Winter/Christmas themed collection and are available now for $9/bottle :)

Toyland:
Toyland is a white crelly with TONS of different glitters in all shapes, sizes and colors and at first glance in the bottle I almost didn't see "Christmas/Winter" in this polish. But, after putting it on and seeing the wide range of glitter, it really does seem like a toyland. I really like creme colored base crellys and this is definitely a fun take on a winter themed polish. I used 3 thin coats to avoid my tips showing through.
Lavender Frost:
Lavender Frost is an iridescent glitter with lavender flakies and is suspended in a clear-ish base. I think this was my least favorite of the collection only because I'm not really a flakie fan. I think it's very pretty and ethereal and has a good formula, it just wasn't for me - that doesn't mean it won't be for you though! This is one coat over Zoya's Megan.
Ugly Christmas Sweater:
I have to say, this one was my favorite and it seriously delivers on the name. In the bottle it's just a hodgepodge of glitter that it makes you wonder if it's going to work. The colors are funky and different and are definitely those found in an ugly christmas sweater. I decided to pair this glitter bomb over a vibrant red (Zoya's Livingston) and I sort of fell in love with the combination. Shown is 1-2 coats.
Vanilla Lace:
Vanilla Lace is a nude crelly with some really pretty lavender, blue, pink, white and iridescent glitter in hex and square shapes. I really like that this is elegant and more demure, yet has some added interest. This is very sheer so I paired these with Zoya's Flynn and Jacqueline (respectively) and really like how versatile this polish is.

Overall, I'm really pleased with my first Polish Addict colors. I think this is a nice Christmas collection and there are definitely some unique glitter bombs and some elegant and pretty colors that will be great for christmas parties. The formulas were all great and really easy to work with as long as you use thin coats.

What do you think of these? Would you wear an ugly christmas sweater? ;)

Happy Polishing :)

  1. I love Toyland and Vanilla Lace! They're both very different from typical Christmas-y polishes, but in a good way.
