The Hunt: The Cure For Outfit Envy...and now nail envy! ;)

Hello, all! Today I have a fun and simple tribal print tutorial to share with you all! I'm sure other nail artists out there can appreciate feeling stumped on what to create sometimes and we all have our ways to be inspired. I think I've mentioned it before, but I really enjoy using the website called The Hunt to help spark my inspiration and I tend to have 15+ tabs open whenever I browse the site. It's a bit addicting and I almost always find something I like or want to recreate.

Today marks the official relaunch of their iPhone app and it has an entirely new look and feel that just makes me so happy. It is very sophisticated and intuitive and needless to say I've been perusing the app a lot lately. I mean, look how pretty it is!
I've been noticing a lot of the "hunts" are looking for nail art tutorials and more often than not these hunt's are lacking any "finds" for the tutorials. SO! I decided to take on a hunt myself! There was one in particular that really caught my attention and I knew I wanted to attempt solving the hunt with a tutorial I put together myself. The hunter asked for an "easy-ish way" to do a tribal like shown so I did my own take on it. It also gave me an opportunity to do a design I might not have done on my own.

So here it is, my how-to for colorful tribal nails :)

I really like the idea of doing this regularly. I enjoy putting tutorials together but often wonder if they are actually helpful to people. It's great knowing that the time I spend putting a tutorial together isn't in vain and that I'm creating a solution to someone's need. Very satisfying!

I definitely recommend taking a look through The Hunt and if you've got an iPhone (sorry android!) you can download the app for free from the app store. If you're so inclined, add me and we can hunt together...or find together!
Happy Hunting! :D
