Zoya - Paradise Sun Collection: Swatches & Review

press sample

As promised, here is the second part of the Zoya Summer collection I shared yesterday! This half of the collection, the Paradise Sun Collection, is made up of shimmers that mirror the creme shades we saw earlier. While I don't like this half of the collection as much (mostly because it's not creme...hey, I can't help what I love!), I do think they feel very tropical and pretty and the formulas were, for the most part, easy to work with.

Aphrodite is a summery red sheer jelly that leans orange and is full of golden flakies. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! I wasn't sure I'd like the finish but it's not as metallic as I thought it would be and is instead very wearable and fun. It's a dark version of Zoya's Soho Punch. Shown is 3 coats.

Mae is a warm magenta pink jelly packed with silver shimmery flakies. This isn't my favorite of the collection, but if you like pinks it's sure to be a good addition to your collection. The formula was great on this one and shown is 3 coats, though it was almost opaque at 2.

Isa is a blurple metallic jelly with iridescent shimmer flakes. This one is so pretty! Definitely one of my favorites of the collection and I love that this is mixed into a summer collection. Shown is 2 super easy coats.

Oceane is a stunning ocean blue jelly with iridescent metallic shimmer flakes and it's really striking on the nail. I was worried that it would show brushstrokes but it applied like a breeze! Shown is 2 coats though it was close to a 1 coater.

Selene is a deep teal shimmer with iridescent flakies and is another favorite of the collection. Really vivid color and will transition well through all the season. Shown is 2 easy coats. This one is a stainer so be cautious.

Genesis is a white metallic-ish polish that, while it is a pretty white, is also pretty tricky to work with. The formula is on the thicker side and it does not reach close to opacity until 3 coats, so I've shown it with 4. . If you have some patience, this applies best if you wait some time between coats.

Overall, while Genesis was a bit of a let down, the rest of the collection is really pretty and all had great formulas.
