Happy Saturday, all! I don't think there is anything better than Saturday morning - I cherish it so much! All the stress and headaches of the week seem so far away on a Saturday.
To celebrate, I've got a fun nail art look to share with you all and it felt wonderful to relieve some of the week's stressors with this intricate leaf look! Fair warning, I have zero self control and wasn't able to narrow down my photos (more-so than usual!) so this is a pic heavy post!
Not going to lie, I'm pretty much obsessed with how these turned out. I think the styling of them is very much "me" and it felt great to paint and enjoy it! I was inspired by this pattern.
I used Cirque Color's Hustle as the base for this look and it's no secret how much I love this polish. I used it just a month or so ago in another recent favorite and I wasn't quite ready to put this baby back in my helmer yet.
I know it's not a super popular color, but I am a sucker for a chartreuse.
I did the detailing with acrylic paints and my trimmed down detail brush. I started with a simple white leaf shape in various places on each nail, some peeking off the side and some fully on the nail.
Then, with my black, green, and teal acrylic paint, I added the center stem line and the various veins of the leaves. To finish up, I outlined each leaf in black and added the stems crossing between the leaves.
I even did a video of this! I'm really not good at the whole tutorial thing, but I hopefully these are still interesting to watch!
So, what do you think?? Let me know how you like the mani and let me know if you like seeing videos like this! I'd like to make more of them in the future even though they're a lot of work!
Happy Polishing :)
