Hello, all! I have a beautiful and unique collection from ALIQUID Lacquer to share with you today! I think everytime I review ALIQUID polishes I talk about how amazingly unique the color combos are...and this collection is no different! I'm slightly obsessed.
This collection is called "Summer of George" and is inspired by the goofballs of Seinfeld! Such fun :) The fiance bought me the entire series of Seinfeld on DVD for Christmas last year and I've been slowly working my way through it.
Anyway, let's take a look!
Yada Yada Yada is a bleached tangerine crelly with neon pink square, circle and micro glitter and OMG, I am in love with this one. It's so unique and so perfect for summer time. Completely smitten! Great formula as well and shown 3 easy coats.
Hipster Doofus is a pastel green crelly with purple, magenta, and silver glitters varying in size and shape. This is such a beautiful combination of colors and it actually feels very "spring" to me, but I can see this working for all seasons. Great formula and easy to work with. 2-3 coats.
Vandelay Industries is a royal purple jelly packed with reddish gold and holographic shimmer with a smattering of purple glitters mixed in. I like the combination of the holo and the glitter quite a bit and this one is a real beauty. Again, not the typical summer shade we usually, see, but I am absolutely okay with it as it's so pretty! Shown is 2 coats.
Serenity Now, Insanity Later is a soft grey crelly with neon blue, green and pink micro glitter (LOVE THESE!). I can't get enough of a classic grey mixed with fun pops of color. The formula was great and shown is 3 coats.
Urban Sombrero is a camel hued crelly packed with teal, blue, copper, brown, & iridescent glitters and this is yet another polish I'm loving of it's uniqueness. Such a pleasing color palette! Easy formula to work with and shown is 3 coats.
Finally, Close Talker is a clear based neon pink and black holo and matte glitter polish. While it is in a clear base, there is enough glitter packed into this bottle that you can reach a fair opacity with just 2 coats! Pretty great in my opinion. This was easy to work with, though it might be smart to try applying the second coat of this with a sponger if you're worried about things getting too thick.
Overall, I really love this collection. I love how unique the color combos are and how well they all seem to "work" with each other as standalone polishes, but also as a collection. I think my favorites are all of the crellies ;)
