Hello, all! First off, I am so sorry that I've been gone! I've been insanely busy with some projects I can't quite share yet, but I'm finally finished up with those so I'll be back to posting regularly again!
I have some of the new Gleek Collection from Glam Polish to share today, all inspired by the songs of the show Glee. As always, Rachel from Glam has dreamed up some lovely shades that go nicely with the theme she's chosen. I watched the first few seasons of Glee so this was fun to remember the awesome covers the show did of classic songs.
Girl on Fire is a dark salmon holo that leans almost orange with gold and pink glass flecks. The formula is really nice and was smooth and opaque in just 2 coats. Shown with a coat of Glam's Magic Shine Top Coat.
Take on Me is a soft pink holo with a scattering of pink shimmer and glass flecks. It's a very feminine and pretty shade and the formula was easy enough to work with, though it needed at least 3 coats to be fully opaque and smooth.
True Colors is a pale amethyst holo with violet shimmer and glass flecks. The shimmer adds a nice iridescent effect that makes this a unique take on this color. The formula was a tad sheer, but otherwise easy to work with and shown is 3 coats.
Firework is a jade holographic polish with green and blue shimmer and glass flecks and of course I love it because teal! The formula was nice and shown is 3 coats, though 2 was probably good.
Finally, Take a Bow is a cornflower blue holo with pink iridescent glass flecks that makes for a beautiful polish. This flecks tone down the color just a bit so it's not a vivid a blue, but it's still lovely to look at. Shown is 3 easy coats, though 2 would have been fine.
Also available now is the Glam Polish Magic Shine Topcoat and so far I'm really liking it! It's not too thin so it's good for nail art and even though it doesn't dry super fast, I like the consistency and shininess a lot.
You can purchase these and the rest of the Gleek collection now from www.glampolish.com.au and they offer shipping to Australia, USA, & France. It's $3.50 USD for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each additional polish (really a great deal in my opinion!).
