Cirque Colors - Metropolis Collection, October: Swatches & Review

press sample

Hello, all! I have the October Cirque Metropolis polishes to share today...are you as excited as I am?? :D

The Metropolis collection is a running collection created by Cirque where each month, 1-3 new polishes from that collection get released. Not only do I love the idea of this type of collection, I can't get over how beautifully crafted each and every one of these cremes are. The formulas are always incredible and make me want to paint nails forever just so I can keep enjoying the application process.

There are two cremes in the October release, so let's take a look!

Velvet Underground is a rich eggplant creme that is very dark purple in indoor lighting, but much more purple and vivid in direct light (as shown in all my photos). The formula was great (as all Cirque cremes seem to be!) and shown is just 2 easy coats.

McKittrick is a dark hunter green creme and is probably my favorite of this duo just because I can't get enough of a great green. This is such a pretty shade and so great for this time of year. Such a rich color and a great formula - shown is 2 coats.

Overall, I am once again smitten with Cirque. Can't say enough good things about their polishes and their brand. Definitely worth a try if you haven't done so yet.

You can purchase these two new shades (or the entire Metropolis collection!) directly from the Cirque website (cirquecolors.com) or if you're not seeing the shade you're after or are outside the US, check out the stocklists who also carry Cirque!
