Hello, all! I'm so excited about this post! As I'm sure you've noticed, I've been doing an insane amount of swatching lately and I'm frankly quite burnt out! I've been missing my beloved nail art so I was so excited when the ladies of the Beauty Buffs decided to break our hiatus and post today!
This week, we're doing posts inspired by our makeup bag! While I don't use a makeup bag for my day to day makeup (I actually just have a short basked that I throw everything in), I do have a great little Rebecca Minkoff Ipsy bag that I've been using in my purse to carry around my random chapsticks/lipsticks/mascara/nail files/etc. It's my all time favorite Ipsy bag and always love looking at it.
For the base, I used OPI's I Saw...U Saw...We Saw...Warsaw (gosh I hate typing out that name!), and then used my 10/0 detailing liner and shades of blue acrylic paint to add the leaves. With some orange, yellow and red paint, I added in some of the flowers (I'm not sure what these are?) to finish up the look.
I just love how dark blue looks with the contrasting orange and yellow and the light blue and teal really make the whole thing pop.
How do you like this look? It felt wonderful to do some fun nail art and I'm hoping to do more of it in the very near future! Thanks for sticking around :)
