Hello, all! Happy Happy Thanksgiving to those of you celebrating with family and friends today! I have had a whirlwind of a week! Last Friday my boyfriend Bryce and I got engaged after 9 years of dating! We spent the weekend in Yosemite and I'm so beyond happy and excited to begin planning the next part of our lives together. If you spot a ring in the background of my photos now, that's why ;)
In honor of my exciting personal life news, I figured I better swatch some stunning polishes and products and share them with you all today! Cirque Colors has curated a few of their favorite holographic polishes to create the ultimate Holographic Gift Set! This set comes in a nice windowed box and would be perfect for the polish lover in your life. These polishes usually sell for $13/bottle, but in the set, it works out to just $10/bottle. Are you ready to drool over these?
Vesuvius is a strawberry red linear holo with a super easy formula. Shown is just 2 coats with the Cirque Colors top coat.
Cypress is a coppery orange linear holo that was the thinnest and sheerest of the bunch. It still applied really nicely though and I needed just 3 coats to reach opacity. While I like this shade, I do think it washes me out a bit.
Chrysopoeia is a bright marigold yellow linear holo. I'll be honest, I wasn't too impressed with this one after the first coat...but after 2 more coats I was very impressed! This is so vibrant and pretty. Shown is 3 coats.
Lonesome George is a vibrant forest green linear holo and was one of my favorites from this set. The holo in this wasn't super strong, but it was still very pretty. Shown is 3 easy coats.
Bejeweled is swoon worthy! This is a vivid royal blue holo that is another favorite in the set (though I'm a sucker for a great blue polish). The formula was like the others and a total breeze to use. Shown is just 2 coats.
Fascination Street is another personal favorite from this collection! Just look at the stunning indigo violet holo!! The formula on this was phenomenal and could potentially be a one coater, but shown is 2 with top coat.
Sani is a silver metallic foil with slight holo tendencies. Before I put it on, I wasn't sure that would look holographic, but in direct lighting it definitely shows up. The formula on this was the trickiest of the bunch and required some careful thin coats. My middle finger caused me some grief in application, but in the end I made it work. I took a bunch of photos of this in an effort to show the holo in this one. Shown is 2-3 coats.
Alter Ego is a black linear holo with a great formula! This is a galaxy in a bottle! I do with that the holo showed through a bit better on this one, but it was still lovely nonetheless. Shown is 2 easy coats.
Also available in a gift set are Cirque's base and top coats. I was so pleasantly surprised by these! The base coat was great (though I don't use base coats too often), and the top coat was fairly fast drying without causing annoying shrinkage. I've been using this top coat pretty regularly and I'm a big fan of it. Definitely worth the money in my opinion. You can grab the TC and BC kit here.
In addition to these polishes, Cirque has some great stocking stuffers available as well. I'm really impressed with their glass nail file and Tea Tree Cuticle Oil pen and currently carry them around in my purse for easy access. Definitely nice to have around (pictures below via the Cirque website)
Overall, I'm so beyond impressed with this brand and their products. The quality and classiness of these products is undeniable and will make any polish lover you know squeal in delight to open up this holiday season...or, as a nice gift for yourself ;)
You can purchase this set and more directly from the Cirque Colors Website for $80 or head to their stocklist page to see where else you can purchase these beauties. Be sure to follow Cirque on your favorite social media site to keep up to date with promotions and releases.
