Nail Art: The Planner Society Washi Series - February 2016

nothing to disclose

Oh hey guys! Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week! I know I've been busy and sick and busy again but I'm excited to share some much needed nail art with you today! For those who follow my planning Instagram (@wondrouslyplanned), you might know that I receive the always fabulous and beautiful Planner Society Kit each month.

This month's kit was a shabby chic inspired set of custom prints and patterns and products - basically perfection. The kit used this year's Pantone colors and boasts rose quartz and serenity shades...they pair so flawlessly together!

Christy, the brains behind TPS, always designs beautiful patterns and she is a gal after my own heart because she loves florals at least as much as I do, if not more! That means she designs and MEAN FLORAL PRINT FOLKS! So, it was only a matter of time before I recreated the washi tape she designed for this month's kit!

I used a base of Zoya's Breezi and then painted the rest with acrylic paints. I started out trying to make it identical to the original print, but I found that it wasn't lending itself as well as I wanted to nail art scale so I added in a few details of my own. I just love how these turned out!

I've done another manicure in the past inspired by one of Christy's washi designs, and I think I'll have to do a whole series of them because each one is so perfect and unique. You can check out my first floral here!

So, what do you think? Liking this look? Let me know in the comments! :D

Happy Polishing :)
