Rifle Paper Company - Recipe Tin Floral Print

nothing to disclose

Hi, guys! Hope your Saturdays are going wonderfully! I've got a quick post to share with you today that I'm excited about! I've had this amazing Rifle Paper Company Recipe tin for ages (snagged it from PaperSource) and I've been dying to do nail art inspired by it...but, such is life and I never got around to it.

Well, today, that changes! :D

This is a pretty simple, yet totally beautiful vintage floral print and I just love it. I would love this print in some other medium. Maybe the cover or stationary or a planner or something??

I used a base of wet n' wild's Air Apparent which is part of their 1 Step Wonder Gel collection (which I will have swatches of for you all within the week!). It was the perfect base (even if it was more powder blue than the original pattern). The rest was done with acrylic paints. I of course had to mattify these and I used KBShimmer's Oh Matte! Which is AMAZING.

I'm just totally smitten with these. Maybe it's that this are the first nail art design I've done in a month or maybe it's actually good? Regardless, it's floral and fun and perfect for me and my heart in this moment :)

How do you like these? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the nail art and on the original Rifle Paper print! :D

Happy Polishing!
