Cirque Metropolis Collection - May Release, Hustle: Swatches, Review & Nail Art

Hello, all! I have the May release of Cirque's Metropolis collection to share with you today and it's a beauty! Yes, I know it's June already, but May seemed to have completely disappeared on me and I don't know how that happened! Anyway, getting to it now :) I hope you all understand! You can also check out past Metropolis polishes here! Without further ado, Hustle
This color...this color is everything. It is the perfect shade of chartreuse green. It isn't TOO bright which I'm obsessing over. It's slightly muted and just feels like spring on my finger tips! Seriously. I challenge you to be sad with this on your nails ;)
I really liked the formula on this as well. It was ever so slightly thick which the color really needed since a thinner formula would be too streaky and require too many coats. As it was, this only needed 2 coats to reach full opacity which is great for a light and bright shade like this.
For today's nail art, I did my favorite, flowers! I stumbled across a rug online that was this vivid neon green with white flowers outlined in black (I can't find it again for the life of me now) and really loved the idea so I ran with it and this is was came of it!
I created the flowers by painting the rough outline in white of each flower. I looked at each petal as tiny hearts meeting in the center of each flower and that helped me space out the petals easily. Then with my black acrylic paint and detail brush, I added the fine line outlines to each flower and the center circle. If my black lines got too thick, I just went back over them with white to fix my "error". Definitely a great trick to have up your sleeve!
Overall, I think it's clear I love this color. It reminds me of my Mother and spring and happiness. The formula is great and easy to work with so no complaints there. I'm also really smitten with the nail art I did for this. I liket that it's simple but still intricate and fun. What do you think of it? Let me know :)
