Nail Art: The Planner Society Washi Series - January 2016

nothing to disclose

Hello my friends! :) remember how yesterday I said I had more The Planner Society Kit inspired washi manicures to share? Well here's the next one! :D let's take a look, shall we?

Today's mani is inspired by the two washi tapes that came out in the January kit. There was a lovely floral pattern (hello, love it!) that had some silver foil intermingled with the flowers and it was beautiful. Christy also paired it with a super cute thin plaid washi. The pairing was meant to be!

I'm going to keep things short and sweet today, but I used a base of China Glaze's Friends Forever, Right? for the base on the flower nails, and OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls for the plaid base. Then I once again used various acrylic paints to create the look. I went with a grey paint instead of silver for this, but I don't think that it takes away from the ultimate finished product.

I once again used my new Winstonia Store brushes to create this look. for the large flowers and thicker stripes, I used the Bambooristic brushes and then I used the 'Berry Wine' Super Thin Nail Art Brushes for the smaller details (seriously obsessed with how thin these are! amazing). Use code WP10 for 10% off your Winstonia order!

What do you think of these? Let me know in the comments and be sure to check back again - tomorrow maybe? ;) - to see the next installment in the series! Happy Polishing!
