Hi, all! I've got the Spring 2016 collection by LVX to share today and as always, I'm in love with the beautiful creme polishes they've curated for us this season. I always consider LVX to be spot on with the current trends and color palettes and this collection is no different. It's the perfect combination of soft pastels and bold pops of color. Just...ugh, so pretty!
LVX is 7-Free, Vegan friendly, and animal cruelty free, and while they're pretty pricey at $18/bottle, you are getting a full 0.5oz of guilt-free polish at that rate. It seems more and more brands are selling at this steeper price, but using bottles that are half this size...so in my opinion, the full size bottles make the price easier to swallow. Let's take a look!
Fleur is a pale pastel pink creme with a thin-ish but easy to use formula and shown is 3 easy coats with time between each.
Blush is a dusty rose creme. I love it combined with this collection and if you don't have a shade like it already, it's a great staple polish to have in your arsenal. However, it is pretty mild and not the most thrilling shade of the set.
Mondrian is a rose red creme with a slightly dusty tone to it. I'm usually not a red person, but I am so in love with this one. It's just the perfect combination of feminine and bad ass which I like to pretend like I am :P shown is 2-3 breezy coats.
Aria is a dusty dove grey blue creme that leans pretty green in certain light. Really really lovely. 2 smooth coats.
Azure is an Aegean blue teal creme that has the same dusty grey undertones of the rest of the collection, making it more muted and wearable. Shown is 2 coats.
Finally, Icon is an alpine white sheer creme polish. Very refreshing and palette cleansing shade. My nail ridges did force me to go with 3-4 coats on this one, but you might be able to get away with less.
