By Dany Vianna - Glitter Polishes: Swatches, Review & Nail Art

press sample

Hello, all! I hope your weekend has gone well! I had quite a day yesterday competing in a challenge at my gym (I took 3rd place, yay!), but now I'm exhausted and sore from the hours of events! Feeling pretty proud of myself though as I never thought I'd be able to do what I did!

I have a great group of polishes to share with you all today from a new to me brand (and new to the US), called By Dany Vianna! Dany is a Brazilian indie maker specializing in fab glitter combos and beautiful packaging (I have pictures of that below!). She has been quite the hit in her home country and has recently begun working with DRK Nails to stock her polish so that the rest of the world can have access to them! I have four of her polishes to share today so let's take a look!

Ariel is a pretty glitter topper packed with small teal hex glitter and red, purple and teal micro-glitter. The glitter is very dense with I appreciate for application purposes and the formula in general was really smooth and easy - not thick or difficult to work with in the least. Shown is 2 coats over Zoya's Evvie.

Some simple scallops in honor of Ariel's mermaid tail :)

Under the Sea is aptly named and brings to mind scenes from The Little Mermaid immediately. It's a glitter topper of micro to small teal hex glitters and small red hex and bar glitters. The formula was great, dense glitter and easy application. Shown is 2 coats over Zoya's Breezi. This is probably my favorite of the bunch! So fun!

Some coral over Under the Sea...love how these turned out!

Ursula is a violet micro-glitter topper with small black square glitters. Once again, this had a great formula and was easy to apply. Shown is 2 coats over Zoya's Alexa.

Whenever I picture Ursula, I picture her tentacles and their curling, creepy, blackness...so I painted a few spirals over this.

Purple Storm is similar to Ursula but has some magenta glitter mixed in along with the violet and is missing the black glitters. Again, easy to work with formula, and shown is 2 coats over Zoya's Flynn.

While I'm sure this combo might not be for everyone, I liked the unique color combo of these classic roses.

Overall, these are some pretty glitter toppers and definitely worth checking out, not only for their great price, but also for the easy application of dense glitters. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that these polishes are not 3 Free. Her polishes are in the same vein as those of Shimmer polish and all around quite pretty!

You can purchase these polishes now from the DRK Nails site for just $6.00/bottle and be sure to follow Dany Vianna on your favorite social media site to stay up to date with the latest collections and promotions! :D

So, tell me what you think! I love hearing from you! Do you like glitter toppers like these? How would you have used these polishes? What sort of undies would you have paired these with?

Happy Polishing :)
