ncLA - Nudes: Swatches, Review & Nail Art

press sample

Hello, all! Hope you are all doing well :) One of my favorite high end brands, ncLA, has recently released a new collection and I'm pretty excited about them. I love neutral shades and this entire collection is "The next best thing to being naked" ;)

There are a total of 6 nude shades in the Nudes collection varying from light to dark shades which is nice and very refreshing. They're all cremes and I have 2 of the lighter shades to share with you today.

Volume I is a pale nude creme that leans slightly orangey/pink. I love this one! It's the perfect creme palette cleanser for me and it's just so refreshing and classy. Absolute perfection for a nude polish! This is a lighter shade so the application was a bit sheer, but nothing unmanageable...shown is 4 thin coats to reach full opacity.

Volume III is similar in coloring to Volume I but has a subtle shimmer to it to add a little something extra. The formula was actually quite nice on this one and it was almost opaque in 2 coats, but shown is 3 for good measure. My apologies on these images, it was tricky to capture the shimmer!

Additionally, since this collection is all about getting nude ;) I decided to paint some sexy fun lace over Volume I. I used black acrylic paint and my striping brush - I always love painting lace!

Overall, I enjoy these. I think if you're looking for a good nude creme, you won't go wrong with these, though be prepared for a few coats to reach the desired opacity (though that's not uncommon for light nude shades anyway).

You can purchase these shades, the entire Nudes collection, or any other ncLA products (they have fantastic nail wraps!) directly from the ncLA website now (shopncla.com). Be sure to follow along on your favorite social media site to stay up to date with their latest collections and promotions!
