The Digital Dozen does Winter Wonderland - Day 4: Graphic Wonderland Mountain Range

Nothing to Disclose, though contains Affiliate Link

Hello, all! We're moving right along with Digital Dozen week, and though my work week seems to be dragging on forever, DD week is flying by! I'm really excited to have kept up with the challenge so far this month and I've really enjoyed what I've managed to create so far (as well as what all the other ladies have come up with!).

After struggling yet again to find something inspiring for today's mani, I came across this wonderful textile design my Leah Duncan. I know that it probably isn't meant to be a wintery looking textile, but the abstract and artsy snowcapped mountain range really spoke to me and I had to give it a shot.

Can't you just see yourself frolicking in some magical winter escape in a mountain range like this? It's almost something out of a Dr. Seuss book, but much more updated and sophisticated. At a glance, they could just be a random geometric design. But upon closer inspection I think (hope) they look more like the mountains they represent.

I used a base of Floss Gloss's Wet which I recently received from Live Love Polish. Such a stunningly vibrant turquoise shade (available here). The rest of the detailing was done with acrylic paints (as per usual) and I topped everything off with a coat of Seche Vite. While these are super bright colors, the palette itself still works for winter in my opinion and I'm liking that it's different.

So what do you think of these? Do you see the winter wonderland-ness in these like I do? I know these might be a miss for some people, but I'm quite enjoying wearing them!

Be sure to check out the other DD member's looks for Day 4 below!

Happy Polishing :)
