Hello, all! I've got another great collection from Barielle to share with you today! I'm really excited about some of the shades in this collection and think the colors as a whole look wonderful together. Let me know what you think about this as a fall collection - I personnally quite like it! If you missed it, I posted Barielle's other Fall collection, the Me Couture collection, a few weeks back and was so in love with that one. I'm excited that they've got two great fall collections to choose from!
Kiss Me Kate
The first of the Jetsetter collection Kiss Me Kate, a lovely creme pink beige. While this shade isn't exactly groundbreaking color-wise, the formula makes this one worth it. Most other colors I have in this shade are on the thicker side and need at least 2 coats to reach opacity...this one however was the perfect thickness and only needed 2 coats to hide the visible nail. I was worried this would be streaky, but no issue here.
Autumn in Seoul
Autumn in Seoul is a deep coppery shimmer creme with a metallic-y finish to it. I really love this shade and that it's an understated shade with that little extra punch from the shimmer. Since this is lightly metallic in finish, it will likely live some brush strokes, but if you don't mind that and you love shades of brown, this formula is quite nice and you'll only need 2-3 coats for this one.
Irish Eyes
Love this shade! Irish Eyes is a mossy, olive green creme that is so unique and so pretty. I don't think I've got anything quite like this shade in my collection so this one makes me happy. The formula was a breeze and shown is just 2 coats with top coat.
Rain in Spain
Rain in Spain is a beautiful periwinkle creme. On it's own, this shade could be worn year round and definitely has a winter or spring feel to it. That being said, when looked at as a part of this collection, I think it balances everything out really nicely. It's definitely a versatile and pretty shade and I love it so much that I will easily wear it year round. The first coat was a bit watery and thin, but coat number 2 evened everything out nicely and I added a 3rd thin coat for good measure.
Gondola Ride
Gondola Ride is a soft sage green creme that is similar in formula to Rain in Spain. This is almost a muted, dusty version of Irish Eyes, and while I do like this shade, I personally enjoy Irish Eyes more. Regardless, this is a nice subtle shade of green that seems very wearable. Shown is 3 coats with top coat.
Midnight in Paris
Midnight in Paris is a dark midnight blue with undertones of purple. In the bottle there is a subtle metallic shimmer that doesn't translate as strongly on to the nail, though it is still noticeable. This finish isn't exactly my taste, but I still think it's nice shade. Shown is 2 coats with top coat.
I also did a quick little floral nail art look using all the shades in this collection. They almost remind me of berries instead of little roses, but I think I like them :)
So what do you think of this collection? Any favorite shades? For the most part, the formulas are great and I like these quite a bit. I think there are some good staple shades in here.
