A Floral Dud - Nail Art

Nothing to Disclose

Hello, all! I've got a quick floral nail art look to share with you today. Work and exercising seem to take up all of my time lately so it's nice when I'm able to carve out time for some nail art looks. This is actually a "failed" look that I had originally done for an upcoming guest post (so excited!), and when I took the photos and looked at the overall design, it just wasn't quite what I was hoping for as my guest post mani...but I still think it's a cool look so I figured I'd share it here instead ;)

My problem with this mani is that it's not as vibrant as I had wanted. It's hard to see, but there is actually a bunch of teal flower petals on the ends of some of the blue stems. I should have gone with a darker shade, but alas, I failed! My inspiration for this look was a beautiful surface design done by Anna Aniskina.

I used a base of Essie's Urban Jungle, but unfortuatnely, don't recall the polishes or acrylic paints that I used for the detailing. I'm terrible at writing that stuff down! As is my go to lately, I added a matte top coat to help show the detailing a bit better.

Told you it was a short post today! ;)

Happy Polishing :)
