I've got another review to share with you all - these are some super easy to use water decals from The Born Pretty Store and I was pleasantly surprised by them!
I've never used water decals before this mani and I was kind of nervous I was going to completely mess the process up. To be frank, the instructions that come with these are terrible. I was confused and (like a dunce) didn't take the plastic off of the decal the first time I put it in the water. Don't be like me! Take the plastic off before putting it in the water or the decal with just adhere itself to the plastic. Yeah, I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed ;)
The closest thing I can compare these to are temporary tattoos - the kind where you use a damp washcloth to transfer the ink to your skin. It's the same idea with these and you could probably apply them the same way if you wanted. I cut out the decal, took the plastic film off and stuck it in water for 10-15 seconds. When the paper was completely soaked through, I stuck the paper (decal side down) onto my nail and it almost instantly transferred. I used a paper towel to dab up any excess water and then stuck my hand in front of the desk fan I have. Be sure to use a regular top coat for these (not a fast dry) so that the decals don't smear or shrink on your nail.
If you'd like to try these water decals or are interested in other nail art products, be sure to check out the Born Pretty Store and use my code SRL91 to receive 10% off your entire purchase and free shipping world wide. How do you feel about water decals? I really like how these ended up looking over just a straight black (Sinful Colors Black on Black).
Happy Polishing! :)
