Mischo Beauty - Swatches, Review & Nail Art

Press Sample

Hello, all! Today I have a new to me brand to share, Mischo Beauty! Mischo was created by Kitiya Mischo King while she was pregnant with her son and it's all about being 5-Free, long lasting, and fashion forward. So far, I am thoroughly impressed with these polishes and love the minimalistic chic feeling the colors and the bottles evoke. I have the two Spring polishes as well as a charity polish to share today (as well as some fun geometric nail art!) so let's take a look!
Lacquer of Love is a vibrant eggplant creme with a phenomenal formula and an even more phenomenal promotion behind it. Right now, 100% of the proceeds of this shade will go to benefit an organization that empowers women, the Washington DC Women's Business Center (DC WBC). 100%!! So wonderful. On top of that, the formula was so cremey and smooth and shown is just 2 coats. drool.

I Dare You is a bright cobalt blue jelly that is basically the perfect blue. I seriously can't get over this shade. This is one of the spring shades from this year and has a great formula. The first 2 coats where on the sheer side, but an easy 3rd coat reach opacity.

Perfect Storm is the other shade in the Spring 2015 duo and it's a powder blue creme. Again, loving this one (I love blues!). It has a great formula and as long as you let each coat get relatively dry, you'll reach opacity in 3 coats.

And for the nail art, I wanted to do something visually striking and exciting and these 3 polishes complimented each other so well that this mosaic/stained glass look jumped onto my nails before I knew what happened. Don't you love when polishes inspire you like that?

Overall, really loving this brand so far. At $18/bottle, these are higher end polishes, but I think the quality is there (plus you get a large .5oz bottle so a huge bang for your buck) and the fact that they are 5-Free is a huge plus. All 3 of these had great formulas and I personally love the look of the bottle so these could definitely be polishes to have on display.

You can purchase these and many other shades directly from the Mischo Beauty website here or check out the Spring 2015 and Lacquer of Love collections directly. Be sure to follow Mischo on your favorite social media site to stay up to date with their latest promotions and collections!
