Bonita Colors - Blooming Colors Collection: Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Hello, all! I know that Summer is officially behind us, but I wanted to share one last bright collection before we start filling our palettes with fall shades! Today I have swatches of the Blooming Colors collection by Bonita Colors. I really love the shades in this collection and think some of them can even be used year round. Let's take a look and you can tell me which colors are your favorite!

Spring Violet
Great lavender creme with an easy enough formula to work with. It was on the runny side, but nothing 3 thin coats couldn't handle.

Honey Me
A bright coral creme. The formula on this one was a bit tough to work with. It was very thin so building the coverage up was tricky. Shown is 4 thin coats.

Frosty
Frosty is a mint creme with a subtle frosty (go figure!) shimmer. This one was pretty streaky and thin so I needed 3-4 coats to reach opacity on this one.

Juvia
Love this sky blue creme! I actually don't think I have a blue just this shade so this is a great addition to my collection. The formula was great, self-leveling and needed 3 coats.

Fall and Catch
Well hello, pretty! Love this dark teal! It's got just a touch of shimmer and it's such a great shade. This one will easily transition into fall and I kind of don't want to take it off. Shown is 3 coats.

#pink
This is a bright magenta shimmer with a great formula. I don't think it's an especially unique shade, but if you don't have one like it, the price is right! Shown is 3 coats.

Creaaamson
You know how I love my yellows, and this is no exception! This is a soft yellow creme and I love it. I think it works really nicely with my skin tone as well. Great formula on this one - just 3 coats needed.

Miss Piggy
Miss Piggy is, you guessed it, a pink polish! This color is a staple pink in my opinion, and while I'm not a pink polish person, I think a good pink is necessary. Shown is 3 coats.

Overall, I am once again very pleased with the quality and formulas of these drugstore polishes. One of my bottles had a wonky brush (though it was only ever so slightly wonky), but it was still very manageable to work with. While not all the colors in this collection are ground breaking, there are so great staple colors at an affordable price.

Do you have a favorite shade from this collection? You can purchase these now in almost all Rite Aid stores for $3.99/bottle or directly from the Bonita website. Be sure to follow Bonita on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with all their new releases and promotions!

Happy Polishing :)
