Hello, my friends. It's been awhile, hasn't it? I've been busy with life and work and struggling to balance my day to day duties...but I'm so missing my blog! So I've got a few sets of swatch posts to share with you all to get back into the swing of things! Today I've got a new to me brand to share, Sienna Byron Bay! They are an Australian based brand (Byron Bay!) that boasts a 7-Free formula which is both Vegan and Cruelty Free. Always nice to see brands that value this!
Right off the bat, these bottles are the most striking feature of this brand. They're squoval glass bottles are all topped unique (and stunning) wood caps. I LOVE the look of these. From a marketing standpoint, these are spot on. So how do the polishes do?...let's dive in!
Stone is a mauve toned pink creme that has a slightly 'latex' looking finish to it. It's kind of soft looking while also looking firm. Easy formula on this one and shown is 2 coats.
Juniper is a greyed out blue creme that gets richer the more coats you apply. This did have a thin formula to begin with, but 3 coats got me full coverage. I am pretty smitten with this hue.
Olivia is a muddy olive green creme that leans almost grey on the nail. Beautiful shade and at 3 coats, one could almost say it's a black toned polish - very refreshing!
I had a nice experience with this brand! I really love their commitment to environmentally and socially conscious issues by being vegan, cruelty free, and 7-Free, but these do have a very steep price tag. At $25 a pop, you definitely will need to mull over the many shades before making a purchase. *EDIT - this is $25 AUD which is about $19 USD*
Check out Sienna Byron Bay on their website, and be sure to follow them on your favorite social media site to stay up to date with the latest collections and promotions.
