Winstonia Store - Bambooristic Brush Set: Review & Nail Art

press sample

Hi, friends! I hope everyone had a lovely week! I'm so thankful we had a short week here in the States - I'm exhausted! But! I wanted to share with you my thoughts on a few different brush sets that I've recently gotten to try out from Winstonia Store. I've worked with them a few times in the past and really love the quality of products they put out at an affordable price.

I'll have 3 different brush sets to share with you over the next few days, but I'm going to start with one that I surprisingly really loved as well as show you the nail art I was able to create using the brushes in the set. Let's take a look at the Bambooritic Set!

So I say I was surprised by these because looking at them, the don't appear that they'll be capable of creating a fine line. As a nail artist who loves painting detailed works, a good brush is an absolute must, especially a teeny tiny fine one! So I honestly wasn't expecting much from these prior to trying them out. However, you can see below that you're able to get a pretty fine line with these depending on the pressure you apply! The numbers are just (what I thought were) the smallest to largest brush.

Despite the appearance, the way the brush hairs sit in the brush create a great pointed tip that makes it easy to work with. I used a combination of brushes 1-3 for the nail art look I've shown here, but as you can see, 4 and 5 still create a really nice line.

Paraphrasing from the Winstonia website:

All Winstonia brushes are handmade with precise scale and measurement.  They differe from regular nail art brushes in that the hairs of the 'Bambooristic' brush set are pierced into its wood handle. This method guarantees a sturdy and long lasting nail brush life span as well as prevents hair from falling during nail art application.

I also did a quick video showing myself painting these with the Bambooristic brushes which you can check out below!

Overall, I'm really pleased with this brush set and these have quickly made their way into my rotation of brushes. You can purchase this set for $7.95 from the Winstonia website and if you use code WP10 you can get 10% off of your purchase :)
