The Glitter Box Polish - Swatches & Review

Hello, all! Happy Sunday :) Today I have some swatches of this month's The Glitter Box, a monthly indie polish box! I really love what these indie makers come up with each month (and that they include a guest indie each month to add even more variety) so I always love seeing each of their takes on the theme. This month was a theme of "Rainbows"...and really, who doesn't love rainbows??

BJotR is amazing! I've never seen anything like this polish before and I'm enamored. It's a glitter topper (so a clear base) but it's packed full of black glitter along with all sorts of fun round, start, diamond, hex, star, etc glitter in really fantastic colors. I've shown it over a gradient of Zoya Neely and Purity and just love how this looks (I actually wore this to a baby shower yesterday!). The formula was great and shown is 1-2 coats. No fishing required!
I Anti-Rainbow is a grey creme full of black and white glitter. I really enjoy these colors together and I love that Bre did a unique take on the theme - adds some nice variety to the collection. Shown is 2-3 coats and the formula was nice. My only comment about this polish is that I believe there are some random large colored glitter in this polish, but I wasn't able to fish any out. That being said, I'm a huge fan of this polish without the added color.
The rainbow really is the superstar in this polish! If you love a glitter bomb packed full of every color and glitter style, this is the one for you! I've paired it over Zoya's Black Swan to really contrast with the rainbow of the glitter as it is the superstar ;) Shown is 2 coats and this has a great formula with no fishing.
PDP is the guest polish for this month's box and April put together a light grey crelly with subtle iridescent flakies and shimmer. I wish I could capture this one better on camera, but it's quite lovely ! Shown is 2-3 coats and the formula was easy enough to work with. I like this take on the theme as it's a little less in your face (not that that is a bad thing!) than some of the other polishes. It's a good balance for the collection :)
And I couldn't resist doing Pipe Dream's ADORABLE paisley logo as my nail art for this box!
You can order this month's The Glitter Box from their StoreEnvy page for $35 until May 15th. Be sure to follow The Glitter Box, Fat Lacquers, The Juice Box Lacquer, Kawaii Lacquer, and Pipe Dream Polish on Instagram to keep up with all their latest polishes and promos :)
