NAGG - Day 5: Blue and Orange Daisy Nail Art

Hello, all! Sorry for my brief hiatus - this cold really took it out of me. If that wasn't enough, I had planned on posting this look yesterday so that I would be back on track with the Nail-Art-a-Go-Go challenge, but my cable and internet provider decided to take a dive in our area all weekend so I'm only just able to use the internet. I don't know how we ever survived without the internet...I was dying without it!

Day 5 of the NAGG challenge is contrast! Which is wonderful for me because some of my favorite color combos are contrasting colors, particularly, orange and blue. And I mean, were you really expecting anything other than awesome florals for this?? ;)

While I have many favorite color palettes, I have to say that orange and blue are consistently a favorite of mine. I can't even put my finger on what about this color combo is so great, but I'm pretty sure I want my whole house to be full of orange and blue things.
For this look, I used OPI's I Saw...U Saw...We Saw...Warsaw (one of my favorite dark blues!) as the base and the flower details are done using my Americana Acrylic paints. I'm really loving what acrylic paints are allowing me to do art wise. It almost gives me more confidence to try things I wouldn't normally because I don't feel inhibited by polish textures. Does that make sense? ;)
Overall, I'm so excited about this look! It came out so much better than I imagined in my mind and I don't think there is anything better than that :)
What do you guys think of this look? How would you have tackled "contrast"? Be sure to check out the inlinkz below to see what Mireia has put together for this theme!

***EDIT***
I made a pictorial!
Let me know if you have questions!

Happy Polishing :)
