Happy May the 4th, everyone! For those Star Wars buffs out there, today has a special place in our hearts as "May the Fourth" sounds very similar to "May the Force..." so naturally we must all paint our nails with Star Wars characters and rewatch every movie made ;)

I did a May the Fourth mani last year and had so much fun with it, that I figured I'd give it a go again this year.

Unfortunately, I'm not as big a fan of what I created this year as what I did last year. I think I was a bit overzealous with my characters and failed to actually recreate them on my nails. So, instead of Star Wars, it looks like I painted random cartoon characters on my nails...but since I spend so long on these, I figured I'd share anyway! I suppose this is a reminder that not all nail looks are a success?

May Nail Art Challenge - Star Wars

May the Fourth be will you, my fellow nail art lovers! Today's Nail Art Challenge theme is Star Wars. For those who didn't know, May 4th has been dubbed Star Wars day since May the 4th sounds very much like May the Force ;) 

I admit I was kind of worrying about doing today's mani - there is so much pressure when it comes to something as well known as Star Wars. Certain images are so well known that recreating them never does them justice. I originally wanted to do something related to the intro scroll scene of all the Star Wars movies, but alas, my nails are not long enough. Instead, I decided to try my hand and their iconic logo, some lightsabers, and a stormtrooper! What do you think?
