40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Hobbies

Hello, all! I have the first of many fun posts to share with you today! I've joined a new nail art challenge (because I need more things to do) that strives to bring our readers TONS of inspired nail art looks based on a new theme each week. There are so many talented ladies partaking so each week we will be bringing you 40 Great Nail Art Ideas (and then some!).
Our first week's theme is Hobbies...and as you might imagine, nail art and nail polish related things are pretty much my main hobby. It's my number one love ;) but! I do enjoy other things when I'm not working or painting my nails. In the past year and a half I got my act together and got in shape and finally feel positively about my body and love to work out. That journey has also introduced me to another new hobby...cooking!
While I'm still quite the newbie to all things cooking, my confidence and curiosity has grown leaps and bounds in the past year. For the first time in my life I enjoy looking at recipes and thinking "hey! I can make that!" instead of "oh I could never do that, better order out". It's been a game changer for me!
So, for today, I've painted cookware! I found this awesome print on Pinterest by Dinara Mirtalipova (@mirdinara) and fell in love with the retro yet whimsical feel that it had. Not to mention I love the color palette! I did a simplified take on her print but I still like how they came out!
I used a base of China Glaze's Change Your Altitude and then painted the rest using acrylic paints. I also mattified this because I felt like it needed it? And I just love to mattify all the things!
I also filmed myself painting these if anyone is interested. More of a speed painting video than a tutorial, but I thought it might be fun to watch the process. I think I saw this every time, but I plan to do more videos like this that just show the painting process because I think they're cool!
Be sure to check out what the rest of the ladies did for their Hobby manis via the inlinkz below and let us all know what you think!

Happy Polishing :)
