The Digital Dozen does Brands - Day 3: WWF

Hi, everyone! Day 3 of the Digital Dozen brands week is going to be short and sweet. I did nail art for one of my favorite brands/organizations, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). I wish I had more to talk about, but man, I had a rough day :( I'm hoping that a good night's sleep will get my bad attitude turned around because I am a cranky kid right now haha

For those who don't know, the WWF is an international, non-governmental organization that focuses on conservation of the environment, animals, and just the earth in general. I have several WWF t-shirts from over the years and think they're just a great cause with a great (panda!) logo :)

By far the trickiest part of this mani was the panda on my index finger. Not going to lie, I redid him 3 times until I was somewhat happy with how he came out. Who would have thought that a few simple black lines would cause me so much grief. I think the tricky part of this month's challenge is getting the stuff we paint to look just like the brand. It's not easy! Even painting two "W's" that look remotely similar was tough for me haha
I used a base of OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls and black acrylic paint for this look. I used my trimmed down detail brush shown here, and just sort of went for it. I had no clue the panda would be so tricky, but I think he turned out alright in the end. Passable at the very least ;)
Do you guys have a favorite organization or brand? I always enjoy hearing about the good ones :) You'll have to let me know!

Be sure to check out the inlinkz below to see all the other fantastic manis being created by the other ladies in the Digital Dozen :)

Happy Polishing :)
