Delush Polish - Life's a Beach Collection: Swatches, Review & Nail Art

press sample

Hello, all! I hope you're all doing well! I've been out of town the last week or so but I'm finally getting back into the swing of things and I have a ton of great collections and nail art coming your way soon!

To start things off, I have the awesome new Delush Polish Summer collection, Life's a Beach to share today! I always love the unique color combos and glitter mixes that Adrianna comes up with and her fun names really make the polish something special for me. This new collection is no different and I'm really loving this fresh take on neons. Let's take a look!

Hip Hip Vacay! is a white based crelly with large purple circle glitters and small neon yellow, green, pink and purple square and hex glitters. This is quite possibly the perfect summer polish. I'm personally a huge fan of wearing white polish and I love that this polish combines that freshness with fun pops of summer mixed in. It's a really fun polish to wear. Shown is 3 easy coats, though 2 was almost doable! This one is like a summer version of 50 Shades of Yay from the Delush Spring collection.

Turn Over a New Reef is a vivid blue creme with neon green micro glitter, small square glitter, and medium hex glitters. This is an incredible blue shade, absolutely neon-y and great for summer. I love green and blue together so I love this color combo. The formula was a little bit thick, but the glitter was easy to grab and shown is just 2 coats. This dries to a semi-matte finish so I've shown it with top coat.

Babe Watch is an insanely bright neon pink crelly that is densely packed with vivid blue hex and micro glitters and large round iridescent blue glitters. There is A LOT of glitter in this one so for some it might be overwhelming, but I like the way the blue breaks up the boldness of the neon pink. This one has the same neon matte finish and applied a little bit thick (partly due to the glitters) and shown is 3 coats. Because of the dense glitter, these may not lay completely flat on your nail, but top coat helps to smooth everything out tremendously.

Cheers Comes the Sun is a neon yellow crelly with a mix of blue hex, micro, and round glitters. This one is interesting on application - in the bottle the blue color is very blue...but once on the nail, the yellow that slightly covers it gives it a green tint instead. The formula was pretty easy to work with and I used 3 coats for these photos.

Dazed & Enthused is a bright magenta crelly full of light blue glitter in the same vein as the previous polishes. This is another one where the creme base slightly alters the final look of the glitter color but it adds a lovely finish. Easy enough formula to work with and shown is 2-3 coats.

Take it Breezy is a neon green crelly packed with pink and white glitters that is evocative of watermelon! Yum! Like the other polishes in the collection, this was easy enough to work with, though the dense glitter does thicken the polish a bit. Shown is 3 coats with top coat.

All Twerk & No Play is a vibrant neon orange that leans more red than traffic cone. It's full of light blue glitter and had a smooth and easy formula (this wasn't as densely packed as some of the others). Shown is 3 easy coats.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this collection! I love that it's a fresh and new approach to the neons shades that are so popular right now. Some of the formulas are on the thick side due to how much glitter is in these, but they're still super easy to work with and beautiful to boot.
