Hi all! Hope you're having a great day, where ever you are! It's almost Halloween and that means Halloween nail art! The ladies of the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas crew are all taking on the Halloween theme! I've really enjoyed doing Halloween nail art this month and today's mani is sort of a mix of a bunch of different Halloween things.
I always like painting small, detailed patterns so this was a lot of fun. I found this super cute print on Pinterest and used that as my starting point for this design. Overall, I like how these turned out! I think they're cute and fun and very much Halloween...but in my own way :)
I started with a base of Ginger + Liz's Best I've Ever Had and then used orange, white and black acrylic paint to add in all the detailing. I was most worried about being able to paint the little bats and getting the eyes of the ghosts to look right, and I think I was able to achieve those alright.
I of course had to mattify them because...well, matte! I think it looks better with a flat finish than a glossy finish.
Overall, I'm liking how these turned out. They're simple and fun and not too in your face HALLOWEEN which I like.
