Wrenn Polish - Nail Polish by Wrenn Jewelry: Swatches, Review, & Nail Art

press sample

Hi, all! Happy Thursday! I have a very special post today! For quite sometime I have been drooling over the stunning druzy jewelry created by Alissa over at Wrenn Jewelry. You've probably seen her work pop up on your Instagram or Pinterest pages as so many people covet her beautiful work.

Just taking a quick look at Wrenn's website will make you want to spent your rent on jewelry, but now they're excited to announce a nail polish line as well! This 10 piece collection is inspired by various Wrenn rings and each polish is semi-representative of the unique druzy stones used in Alissa's jewelry. So, let's take a look at this new collection!

Feeling Bluzy is a deep royal purple shimmer that leans almost indigo. The first coat has some shrinkage at the edges but the second coat fixed it right up and there were no issues with application past that. I like this one on the nail much more than in the bottle! Shown is 3 coats for good measure.

A Pirate's Life is a bright cerulean blue with an iridescent shimmer. This is a really pretty hue and I think it would work nicely with various skin tones. Formula was workable though the first coat was a bit thin. The second coat applied beautifully though and shown is 3 coats for good measure.

And I can't resist a bit of nail art! Tiny pirate's booty (diamonds!) over A Pirate's Life.

To Infinity...is a metallic silver shade that is darker in person than my photos are showing and makes it much more interesting to me than your average silver metallic. There are some brush strokes due to the nature of a metallic finish so keep that in mind. Shown are 2 pretty easy coats.

And To Infinity...paired with it's matching ring!

Passionfruit Pink is a soft grapefruit flesh pink with gold shimmer that leans rosy gold. Really such a lovely and elegant shade! Shown is 2-3 easy coats.

Green with Wrennvy is a vibrant teal shimmer that is practically a one coater! This is a stunner in my book (big surprise seeing as I love so many teal polishes!). Shown is 2 super breezy coats.

Finally, Uncorked is a rich burgundy wine red shimmer that is one of my favorites of this collection. It is so much prettier on the nail than I was expecting! Don't get me wrong, still pretty in the bottle, but it just shines even more-so on the nail :) Great formula and shown is 2 coats that applied super smooth and easy.

I also received this STUNNING bracelet so I tried my hand at creating some nail art that goes along with it. I used 4 different polishes to create something similar to the druzy in this bracelet but I didn't even come close to it's beauty!

Overall, I'm enjoying this first collection from Wrenn. From what I've seen, they pair nicely with all of Alissa's jewelry and they're beautiful shades. You can purchase these at 9am PST today, January 14th, from www.shopwrenn.com. And! For those of you who purchase at least 5 colors on opening day, you'll receive a free top coat and nail file :)
