KBShimmer - Summer 2015, portion of Parts 1, 2, & 3: Swatches & Review

Hello, all! I'm finally starting to feel better after taking the weekend and some time from work to recuperate. I hate getting sick! Today I have a selection of the new KBShimmer Summer polishes to share with you all! This Summer, KBS is releasing a massive 3 part collection that is bound to have something for everyone! The 28 polish collection is broken into (9) Tropical Creams and Toppers, (9) Tropical Glitters, and (10) Ultra Chrome and Metallic Flakes. Let's take a look at 3 polishes from each part!

The Tropical Creams and Toppers - $7.50/creme & $8.75/glitter topper

Bahama Drama is a neon peach coral creme that I have fallen truly, madly, deeply in love with. I immediately put it on my toes and all my fingers. Like, wow. It's pretty incredible. I'm not usually one for this vibrant a polish, but this has converted me. Perfect. Summer. Shade. Shown is 3 easy coats with a great formula. These do dry to kind of a satiny matte finish so I'd recommend a top coat for this.
For Sail by Owner is a pastel neon lime green that leans slightly yellow and manages to be a pretty flattering and awesome color! Sometimes greens like this are tough, but this one is really fun and will be great for summer and possibly even some halloween themed manis later on. Shown is 3 easy coats.
Leggo My Mango is a pastel neon orange creme. It's not traffic cone orange which I'm loving but it's still vibrant and very much a summer shade. The formula on this was a tad bit trickier and I did have some patching so some nails have 2-3 coats while some needed 3-4.

Tropical Glitters - $8.75/bottle

What Are You Wading For? is a deep periwinkle blue linear holo with a scattering of blue shimmery flecks. Quite a lovely shade and the formula was spot on - super smooth and shown is just 2 coats.
Shell Shock is a dark peach (almost tan) crelly packed with copper and magenta. This is my kind of polish - it's such a unique color combo and is really lovely in my opinion. It doesn't feel particularly "summery" to me, but it does give off a beachy feel! Shown is 3 easy coats.
We Be Jammin' is a bright magenta polish with a nice blue flakie shimmer. I love this shade for summer and I think it will actually transition really nicely out into fall as well. It's bold without being too outrageous. Shown is 3 easy coats.

Ultra Chrome and Metallic Flakes - $10.75/bottle

R-E-F-L-E-C-T is a medium sized silver flakie that almost leans champagne on the nail. This one is incredible! You can use this as a glitter topper, but I've shown it on it's own because it's just so striking. Shown is 3 thin and easy coats with top coat.
Green Weaver is a duo-chrome flakie that shifts from deep apple green to a soft and beautiful rosy pink. In some light it even shifts to purple! I've yet to see a duo chrome quite like it and it's really beautiful. I've shown 3 thin coats on it's own and love that it doesn't need a base polish (though it would pair nicely with many a shade).
Moody Hues is an incredible duo-chrome flakie that shifts from deep blue to vivid violet and at certain angles shifts to a coppery orange. It's amazing and once again, I can't say I've seen a flakie like this. Shown is 3 coats on it's own.
Overall, I am once again impressed with KBShimmer's quality and creativity. I am especially smitten with those stunning cremes and the duo-chrome flakies! Wowza!
