Renaissance Cosmetics - Sassy & Sweet Duo: Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Hello, all! I have two beautiful polishes from the always phenomenal, Renaissance Cosmetics to share with you today! These two shades make up the Sweet & Sassy Duo that was released for Valentine's Day...but as you'll see, both of these shades will be wearable year round depending on how you layer them!

Sassy With a Vengeance is the first of this duo set and it's packed with black and fuchsia holo glitters and tons of multi-chrome flakie goodness! This one is so unqiue! I don't think I've ever come across a glitter combo like this and I absolutely love it. So impressed. Shown is 1-2 easy coats over a nice lavender polish.

Sugar and Spice is my surprising favorite of this duo set. It's a glitter topper packed with white and soft pink holo hex glitters and a scattering of multi-chrome flakies. In the bottle it looks very soft and elegant and I honestly wasn't sure I could pull off such a pretty polish (I'm a tom boy at heart and still feel self-conscious wearing feminine shades), but once it was on the nail, I loved it. You can keep the soft and dainty feel of this by pairing it with a light base coat, or completely change up the look by layering it over a dark polish. Shown is 2 easy coats over black.

Overall, I'm really loving this duo. I'm really thrilled at how Meghan has decided to use the duochrome flakies that are so popular at the moment and think she's hit the nail on the head with this set. Just two really beautiful glitter toppers.

You can grab each of these polishes individually for $10 each from the Renaissance website (or grab the duo for $18 here). Plus! Use the code wondrously15 for 15% off of your order of $12 or more until April 11, 2015 (which can be used multiple times until then).

Be sure to follow Renaissance Cosmetics on your favorite social media site to stay up to date with the latest promotions and releases (there are often AWESOME prototype sales that you seriously do not want to miss out on!).
