Habit Cosmetics - Shades 09, 14, 15, & 16: Swatches, Review & Nail Art

Hello, hello! I've got swatches of some more beautiful Habit Cosmetics polishes to share with you all today! I've reviewed Aja's stuff before and I always love not only the stunning shades and great formulas, but the consciousness that goes into each bottle. Habit is big 5-free, vegan and creulty free, and each polish is made with a natural nail strengthener call Myrrh extract. If that wasn't enough, they also come in my favorite bottles ever.

09 - Creature of the Night is a deep purple creme with a subtle iridescent blue shimmer. This shimmer shows up a bit better in the bottle than on the nail, but it's still very striking nonetheless. The formula on this alright, but after the 2nd coat, the polish thickened a bit and didn't level out as nicely as I'd hope. However, it's still very manageable to work with if you're patient (and who wouldn't want to be for how pretty the color is!). Shown is 3 coats with Habit's Top Coat
14 - Hussy is a vibrant true red creme that is your classic red shade. I love when brands have great staple shades to add to your collection. If you're a red lover, this is a great addition. The formula on this one was similar to 09, but I only needed 2 coats with the Habit TC.
15 - Santa Sangre is a vampy ox-blood red creme that I'm in love with. Like, wow. It's so pretty. It's got great earthy brown undertones and I did not want to take this one off. The formula was similar to the first 2 shades and shown is 3 coats with Habit TC.
I loved Hussy and Santa Sangre together so much that I did a quick little gradient using the two and did some fun mushroom nail art over it :)
16 - Lush (YOTEL Limited Release) is a soft grape creme created as part of a duo for the hip Yotel hotels. The formula is amazing and practically a one coater! I love those :) shown is still 2 coats, but like I said, I could have gotten away with just one.
Overall, once again enjoying the polishes from Habit. Their whole business model makes me happy, and while they're on the more expensive side, their eco-friendly practices help make up for that. You can purchase Habit directly from their website, as well as in select retailers. Be sure to follow them on your favorite social media site to stay up to date with the latest collections and promotions!

What do you think of these? Have you tried Habit or are any shades popping out to you? Let me know and happy polishing :)
