The Digital Dozen does Floral - Day 4: Vintage Fabric Nail Art

Nothing to Disclose

Happy, Thursday! I both can't believe it's already Thursday and I can't believe that it's only Thursday...does that happen to anyone else? Today we're moving right along with the Digital Dozen floral week, and today marks Day 4! Guys, look at me! I'm staying on track to finish the week on time! I'm so excited!!

Today I went with yet another Pinterest found floral print. I maybe have to rename that site to "floral-interest"...or something much catchier that I'm not clever enough to think up ;)

This was one of those manis that I really wasn't sure about while painting it, yet completely transformed once I added a top coat. I thought for sure that it was going to turn into a dud, and while it's not perfect, I don't think it's a complete fail. This is one of the few times in recent history where I think I like the glossy version of a mani over the matte version.

I really like this broken up version of a flower, though it's tricky sometimes to get the petals in the right location, with the right amount of spacing between each petal. I dusted off my bottle of OPI's My Vampire is Buff (which is a bit blasphemous to say since I used to use it so often! I've been favoring My Boyfriend Scales Walls so much lately) for the base and used acrylic paints for the detail work.

I'm really enjoying the look of this one. It was nice to do a bit of detail work for the challenge though I didn't take as much time as I would have hoped so it's not as clean as I'd like (sorry, I know people hate hearing that, but I'm my own worst critic and I just see the flaws! Don't kill me!).

How do you like these? Have you been enjoying seeing everyone's floral manis this week? Be sure to check out the inlinkz below :)

Happy Polishing :)
