KBShimmer - Portion of the Fall 2014 Collection: Swatches & Nail Art

Hello, all! Today I have swatches of 3 polishes from the KBShimmer Fall 2014 collection! I'm hoping to have the new Winter collection to share with you in the next day or two, so stay tuned for that. The 3 shades I have to share today are a good cross section of the polishes KBShimmer has to offer. There is a holo, a creme and a crelly and all of these boast phenomenal formulas. I also took a little bit of time to do a few nail art looks to go along with two of the shades, so lets take a look!
Up and Cunning
Up and Cunning is a deep linear holographic teal with a phenomenal formula. I know that holos are relatively new for KBShimmer, but this polish makes you think they've been making them as long as their classic crellies. The formula on this was wonderful and I only needed 2 coats (though you're almost opaque with just one).
*Sigh* This deep navy creme has a dusty look to it that I absolutely love. This polish was love at first sight and the buttery application only made that love deepen. I know that I will be reaching for this blue often. This was opaque in just one easy coat, though I have a general aversion to using just one coat, so shown is 2, plus top coat. This is definitely a must have for creme lovers.
I also wanted to do some simple nail art over this and the KBShimmer logo and bottle became my inspiration.
Jack is a limited re-release and I'm really glad it's available again. This is a black crelly with varying sized orange hex and bar glitter. I love the look and dimension achieved with the opaque black and the orange glitter. This is definitely a Halloween-y fall shade, but it's not so in your face about it like some polishes can be. I think this could work for the whole fall season. The formula was lovely and I needed 3 thin coats for the photos below.
And, because this polish just screamed Fall to me, I added some simple and cute pumpkins! I love the painterly look of them paired with this crelly base.
You can purchase these and the rest of the KBShimmer lineup directly from their website for $8.75/bottle (cremes are just $7.50/bottle).
