Happy Saturday, all! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I can't believe it's already February 1st! It's definitely time to start thinking about that little holiday in the middle of this month called Valentines Day...and of course, the most important part of that will be choosing the right nail polish for the day! ;)
Today I've got some stunning polishes from Renaissance Custom Lacquer to help make your Valentine's mani selection both easier and more difficult. Easy in that there are 4 great options to choose from...and tough because there are 4 great options to choose from ;) This is the "Love...Everyday" collection and is inspired by the concept that, well, we should show our love year-round.
Black Heart, Don't Care
Black Heart, Don't Care is a fabulous white crelly with a subtle pink shimmer. There are silver and pink micro glitters mixed with some larger pink shards, iridescent silver squares and large black hearts. I love this polish. I think this whole collection does a good job of being a wearable collection year round, and while this is the "anti-valentines" polish of the collection, it actually feels the most like Valentines to me haha there was some fishing required for the black hearts, but that's pretty standard for big glitter. The only thing I noticed was that the large silver square glitter seemed to disappear in the polish and especially after a top coat. Shown is 2-3 coats.
Love...Everyday
If you'll recall from past Renaissance swatches, there is a little (awesome) polish called L'Hiver and Love...Everyday is the little sister of that polish. I am not a pink polish person. I don't think I can wear it at all. But oh my! I wanted to wear this one. It's just the perfect shade of pink that is subtle enough that it feels elegant and lovely, but the blue and gold micro glitter makes it feel updated and just the right amount of edgy. I really like this one. There is a slight gold shimmer in the pink and I just love this polish. Definitely a favorite and can be worn year round. Shown is 3 coats (but it could have easily been 2!).
Taffeta Gown
Who doesn't love a good shimmer-holo? Taffeta gown is a rosy-gold shimmer with the right amount of holo. This one is really quite stunning on and has quite the variation in colors. Depending on the light, it varying from the deeper color shown in the swatches, to a lighter softer pink. This has potential to be a 1 coater, but shown is 2 coats.
Rosie-Osie
Rosie-Osie is a looker! It's a redish polish with almost magenta undertones. It has a deep red shimmer with silver micro glitter that has an iridescent effect that is quite striking. This was another favorite from the collection and I could see myself wearing this any time throughout the year (though it feels more like a fall-winter polish than a spring-summer one). Shown is 2 coats but it's another that is almost a 1 coater.

Overall
This is yet another fantastic collection from Renaissance Cosmetics. The formula for all of these were fantastic and incredibly easy to work with. I love that all of these polishes can be worn on their own and don't require a base polish. Black Heart, Don't Care was the only one that required any extra work to get the full effect of the polish, but it's still worth it. I really enjoyed this entire collection and appreciate that it can be easily worn year round.
