Liquid Sky Lacquer Valentine's Collection - Swatches & Review

I'm really excited about today's post! If you haven't heard of Liquid Sky Lacquer and been drooling over them for years, then you probably live under a rock ;) But really, I have been eying Carolyn's polishes for so long so when she said she'd send me polishes I had a little party from excitement.

Today I've got polishes from the Valentine's Day collection and they're all really fun and festive with great formulas.

Bee Mine
Bee Mine is one of my favorites from this collection! It's a milky white crelly with yellow, black and pink hex glitters in varying sizes as well as some large pink hearts. The formula was great and I reached opacity in just 2 coats. My only issue was some fishing for the large hearts but that's pretty normal when you're dealing with larger/heavier glitter. Shown is 2 coats by itself.
Cupid's Bow
Cupid's bow is a glitter bomb of red and white micro glitter, medium sized hex glitters in pink, red and white and mixed with some soft pink bow glitter. The formula was easy to use and I didn't have any issues fishing the bow glitter out like I thought I would. Shown is 1-2 coats over OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls.
Heart Throb
I really liked heart throb. This is another glitter bomb and it sports red and white micro glitter, red and white medium hex, and large red, purple and light and dark pink hearts. There was some fishing for the large hearts but flipping my bottle upside for a few minutes helped get them out. The formula was once again great and very easy to apply (I hate when glitter bombs are so thick you can't work with them at all). Shown is 1-2 coats over Zoya's Ballet Babe.
Key to my Heart
This was another favorite from this collection! Key to my Heart has red and silver holo micro glitter, medium pink and silver hex glitter, medium red squares, and large red hearts. I was actually quite surprised that there was no fishing for the large hearts (always a plus!) and the formula was spot on. I've paired it over Zoya's Black Swan and I just LOVE the contrast of this glitter with the black. Shown is 1-2 coats.
Overall
Really pleased with this collection. It's definitely a Valentine's collection and aside from Bee Mine, it might be tough to wear year round. There was some fishing involved for the larger glitter, but that's pretty normal for glitter bombs and they were still easy polishes to work with. The formula was smooth and not too thick. Definitely recommend these for those who love a great holiday themed polish :)
